In a nutshell: no.
Blunderbusses were always more common in England than in the United States (and the American colonies before that), and were mainly used in that country as a naval weapon and for protecting the Royal Mail coaches. While the U.S. navy purchased some blunderbusses (and even had its own made at Harpers Ferry) in the late 1700's and early 1800's, by about 1840 they were completely obsolete, replaced by increasingly less expensive double-barrel percussion shotguns for civilian use, and by musketoons (musket-caliber carbines) in military use. By the time of the Civil War, even the musketoons were obsolete, though some Confederate cavalry units used sawed-off percussion double-barrel shotguns for short-range skirmishing.
