It has been suggested that Nazi Germany arrested up to 100,000 homosexuals during the period of 1933 to 1945, of which at least 50,000 were sent to concentration camps. (reference needed)
Editor's Note: There is no definitive number on the genocide total of the homosexuals. The information I have attached comes from the Center for Holocaust and Genocide of the University of Minnesota's web site. They had an authoritative person provide this information for them. I have added the related link for you below.
"Overall, we can estimate the number of males convicted of homosexuality from 19331944 at between 50,000 to 63,000. The number of homosexuals incarcerated in the Nazi concentration camps is not known, much less the number who died there. Rudiger Lautmann in his Gesellschaft und Homosexualitat: Seminar [Frankfurt: Suhrkamp, 19771, whose figures are used by Plant and other writers, estimates that somewhere between 5,000 to 15,000 homosexuals perished behind the barbedwire fences. These were victims who were labeled and processed as homosexuals. A figure of about 10,000 homosexuals is the one accepted by most scholars (although figures are thrown about wildly and estimates run as high as Jean Boisson's one million dead."

There are no records of any soldiers being murdered for being gay in World War II. In fact, there were virtually no soldiers that were openly gay, so know one knew who was gay. Anyone found to be gay would have been discharged immediately.
The number of gay people has probably always been the same: about 3% to 8% of the population. It was no different in World War I, except that at that time, more than 99% of gay people were closeted.
There isn't a exact amount. However, it is to be said between 10,000 and 15,000 homosexuals were killed during the Holocaust.

No. Only a small fraction of the world is gay; about 3-8%.
The Nazis killed gay people during World War II. Today, about 10 countries have the death penalty for being gay and significantly more have groups/police that openly kill gays without criminal repercussions.

More than 1
Since gay people only make up about 3.5% to 8% of the population, the difference in world population would be insignificant.

Yes, there have been gay people for more than 100,000 years. Homosexuality is part of human nature.
