There is no "extra gear lever". I am at a loss as to why there would be one or what it would do.
this is the lever that enables high and low gear for 4wd.
They are a lever.
700r4 gear shift lever want lock in place
The heated front seats are an optional extra on the 1999 Subaru Forester. If you have them, the switches should be on the center console (between the driver seat and the passenger seat) just behind the gear shift lever. There should be two switches - one for the driver's seat and one for the passenger's seat. The switches each have 3 settings - off, lo, and hi.
A Lever
Quite simply it means that the connection between the gear lever & the gearbox is a cable. Other means of connection are. Direct from the gear lever into the gearbox Rod linkage between the gear lever & the gearbox.
It's a shame to drive a subaru with an automatic transmission
check the brake pedal switch
it holds the gear that the car is in
by using a pulley, lever or gear
the pistons fire a couple times still after you turn it off. no big deal its normal It could be the interlocks engaging in the gear lever. This locks it in position until you put your foot on the brake.
no, unless you continue to pull gear back. Usually this happens if you don't keep feet on breaks until you put gear in neutral then raise your brake lever and then place gear in park position.
