AnswerThe fuel pump fuse on a 1990 buick lesabre is on the passenger's side, under the glove box. When you look under the glove box, you will see a black cover under the dash that stretches across 3/4 of the car. (There is another cover under the steering wheel.Remove the passenger side cover. Looking underneath the glove box, you will see a fuse box to the far right side. You will likely need a flashlight to see it.In my 1990 buick lesabre, there are 3 fuses at the bottom of that fuse box, and the center fuse is the one for my fuel pump. It is a 20 amp fuse.

The Montero was made by Mitsubishi
My 90 lesabre did the same thing. When it cut off after driving I sprayed water on the crank sensor and it started right back up. A buick mechanic told me to do this and this is how I found out the crank sensor was bad!
If your car has 100.000 miles on the engine,it's best to use 50 weight racing oil. My 90 lesabre has 293000 miles I use 10w30. Thicker oil will not flow to the bearings as quick and is not recommended by GM.
on the 90's neons they dont have fuel filters htey have fuel pressure regualtors which you can diy.
The fuel filter is located on the fire wall just left of center. You can tell it is because it has the fuel line going into the top then one coming out of the bottom.
