Answer 1

If the Aryan race exists, then yes, Jews could be considered Aryan if they met the characteristics. However, Hitler believed the Jews were a race of people, (It doesn't take a genius to know that Judaism is a religion, not a race), Therefore they could not be part of "Hitler's Aryan race".

Answer 2

Hitler made the view that Jews were a distinct race explicit in numerous accounts and metaphors (most notably in Mein Kampf when he compared Jewish-Gentile marriage to a fox and sheep marrying). When Hitler described the Aryan Race he was referring to German ancestry from exclusively Caucasian origins, regardless of the actual genetics and fundamentally excluded Jews from this category.

As concerns the anthropological term "Aryan" separate from the political connotations, "Aryan" refers to the original Caucasians (people of the Caucasus Mountains) and their descendants. This includes much of the European population (with the exception of Hungarians - as they are Asian and several Southeastern European countries since their ethnic origins are partially Anatolian), the population of Iran and of certain areas of South Asia. Jews are typically not considered Aryan as their ancestry is Middle Eastern and not derivative of the Caucasus Tribes. However, in the late Roman Period and early Medieval Period, there were Caucasian Jewish converts, most notably the Khazars. While these converts make up an insignificant portion of the Jewish people, it does allow for some overlap between Caucasians and Jews. Also in much of Europe, Jews appeared ethnically to be European (as opposed to Arab).
