Not from the Arab peninsula. At the time oil was not yet an important commodity, and the Arabs were largely dirt-poor nomads, mostly living from camel breeding and the income from pilgrims to Mecca and Medina. They couldn't at the time afford the Titanic as a pleasure trip, and unlike the poor from eastern and southern Europe of that era, they never considered emigrating. So no Arab peninsula third-class passengers either.
There were however 80 passengers from Lebanon on board. That country has a multi-ethnic society, and the Titanic passenger list does of course not mention their ethnicity. But it is probable that a number of these Lebanese passengers were ethnic Arabs.
People died in the Titanic disaster because there was no more time to get people into lifeboats.
I believe the Titanic did bring people together because people had to work together to be able to survive. This means that quite probably, strangers were helping strangers so that both could survive.
So many people are interested in Titanic, that now, over a century later, A rep at the Library of Congress figures that Titanic is in the top five of public enquiries. Ultimately, the whole thing that's so gripping about the Titanic story is that it's so unique. No vessel in history sank the way she did.
many people die in the Titanic so people can't forgot it (p.s What do you want to know? if you want to know the things that happen that night then it will be so long) any question about Titanic please E-mail me: iamevanwang@gmail.com
No. The closest thing to a telephone was the Marconi wireless set. There was one on the Titanic and people could pay to send messages to people they knew. It was very expensive for a passenger to send messages so they were usually very short.
At that time the Titanic was the ship of dreams. As well as that the Titanic was going to America, which was called the new world and loads of people wanted to go there for a new life.
why r people werid
The Titanic sunk because of a misunderstanding. People thought it was such a grand and big boat so they never thought it would sink. Because of this, they did not put enough lifeboats to save any people in case there was an emergency. Out of the more than 2000 people on the Titanic, less than half of them survived.
Arabs live anywhere they so desire, but form the majority of people in the so-called Arab States, which comprise most of the Middle East and North Africa.
Obviously! RMS Titanic was the biggest boat in its time and there were a lot of important people on it so of course it was awesome!
2 workers died during Titanic's Launch and there are no stable record of how many people died during the sailing day. So it's probably none.
They were lowered to the water with people in them- less people than maximum capacity. People were trying so hard to get off quickly that not any were filled to the rim, which is likely the cause of so many deaths is the disaster.
