"The most popular Corvette model was 1983-1996 model, also known as the C4. This model of Corvette was the model that lastest the longest and produced more than any other Corvette model."
There were 15,169 Galaxie 500 XL convertibles produced in 1964. The swing away steering wheel was an option on all but the Thunderbird where it was standard after 1962. There were very few 500 XLs sold with this option but it could be ordered on any Galaxie from 1963 to 1966. As to the exact number of 500 XL convertibles equipped with this option I have been unable to find that information.

Yes,but you'll need to purchase wheel adaptors ,1984-1987 has different offset than 1988-96 Corvettes .- Calderone-Online.com
The front bumper on a 1984 Corvette is held on by several mounting screws, bolts, and clips. There are bolts which hold it to the steel frame under the bumper which need to be removed. The mounting screws will also need to be removed. Once all the hardware is off gently lower the bumper pulling off any left over clips.
Convertibles in general carry higher premiums than their hardtop counterparts. This is because convertibles are easier to steal and damage.
