I don't k ow how old this question is or if anyone is still paying attention, but, the only place I have found that sells Freeze12 is Advance Auto Parts. And I have only found one out of 10 or so local stores that carries it.
Freeze12 would be only one that I would recommend.........
Personally I don't think so, but that's just my opinion
R134a is the current alternative to R12. I have found Freeze12 put out by AutoRefrigerants.com. They say no retro-fitting is needed.
Freeze 12 is a replacment for R12. They are not the same thing. How well Freeze 12 works, I cannot say.
if system is empty, u need to charge with correct amount of oil and refrigerant. the oil actually carries the refrigerant in the system if just recharging, buy the refrigerant that has oil already added, these are available at most auto stores
It came with r12. There are some aftermarket freon that will work with r12 called freeze12. If the system is empty I would change it over to r134. You would need a different offrice tube also. Did my 90 lesabre about 4 years ago.
