If it's an automatic transmission, the dipstick will tell you what kind of fluid to use, i.e. Dexron Mercron III. If it's a manual trans, any parts store can tell you what oil to use. Mark DO NOT use Dexron/Mercon or plain ATF fluid. It will burn up the transmission in Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. Use ATF+3 or the newer ATF+4 only. When you get a bottle of ATF+3, it will say on the bottle FOR USE IN CHRYSLER VEHICLES. - Chryslerman
