What's wrong if your 1992 Buck LaSaber starts cold ok but if you run it for a long distance and stop it will not start again for 15 minutes?

i'm thinking that you may have air in your cooling system and its causing your engine to have hot spots. your temperature sensor its picking up an overheating "signal" and its shutting your engine off to protect it from being damage. Check crankshaft positioning sensor. Had same problem. When engine was hot and wouldn't start I sprayed cold water on sensor and engine started. Replaced it and solved problem.
