No, they are closer to the causes of WWII. The cold war was a "standoff", but today we see nations building armies, adding to the war machines, not talking, and making treaty's with other nations in case of attack. This too happened just prior to WWII.
Yugoslavia and Kosovo. This is wrong the two countries involved from WWII to 1991 was the United States and Russia (USSR).
The Cold War was most nations on Earth either on the American side or the Soviet side.
Yes from the end of WWII until 1991, America was involved n the Cold War with communist countries like the Soviet union and Red China.
Some nations would join or were already part of the non aligned countries.
It was between the US and the USSR, the US ended up winning the "war"
Before WWII = WWI..... After WWII = Cold War
The Cold War was between the US (and its allies) against the Soviet Union (and its allies). It started in 1945, immediately after WWII. This is because at the end of WWII, the US and Soviet Union proved to be the only two world powers, and the Cold War was a "war" to see who would come out the most powerful. The United States won the "war" in 1991.
