There has never been a church that was founded by gay people. There are many gay-friendly Christian churches though, including the MCC and the UCC.
There are a huge number of gay Christians. Most gay Christians are closeted, but the Metropolitan Community Church and the United Church of Christ have large gay followings.
The United Methodist church opens its ministry to gay Christians, although this can be dependent on the location of the church. Yes, however the Catholic church requires gay people to be celibate AND not marry.
The Seventh-Day Adventist Church may accept gay people who are celibate, but does not recognize their need to form intimate bonds or get married. The Church expects them to remain alone for the rest of their lives.Homosexuality: the Seventh Day Adventist Church
No. While they claim to accept everyone, they won't tolerate gay people who are sexually active and/or gay people in relationships.
All legitimate research says that a gay person is born gay. You could condemn someone for hair color or height just as easily. Furthermore, all human beings have the right to pursue love and intimacy. You have the right to exclude sexually active gay people from your church, but you do not have the right to control the lives of gay people (or anyone) outside your church.
Not true!
Yes some gay people are black, white, native american, asian, disabled etc... Basically gay people come in all sizes, races, genders, abilities. nationalities etc.
Basically love between two people of the same gender.(like gay people and lesbians)
It depends one what church you're talking about. Some churches fully support equality for gay people.
