That would be the "infamous" state of Illinois.
Illinois.
Chicago does not have a unique state bird. If you mean what is the Illinois state bird that would be the northern cardinal
The distance from Chicago, Illinois to Kansas is 757.8 miles. This would take about 11 hours driving in the car.

Its a psycological thing but it basically says that Chicago is the 3rd largest city in america. It has been commonly put with the chicago fire. It has amazing wildlife attractions including the worlds largest Oceanarium and large zoo. It is also a great city for modern culture. On the other hand, illinois seems like a hillbilly state... But, most people say their city if they are talking with people in the same state. It would make sense if you said what state you were from if the city is not well known and you are out of state. People know chicago. I bet more people know chicago than illinois
Chicago is 36.9 miles southeast of Barrington.
That would be Chicago.
it's not that far north...springfield, Illinois is in the center of the state. many feel that the "true" capital of Illinois is Chicago, because it is a much bigger city and has "more to offer," but the capital remains springfield. Chicago is in the northern part of the state, close(ish) to the Wisconsin border. if you're wondering where springfield is in relation to your town, i would suggest mapquesting it
That would be Chicago in the Great Chicago Fire.
In what country? actually it says what town. but if it were a country it would be italy. but the town might be l.a. or nyc
