The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is located where the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela Rivers meet. It is called The Point. Originally spelled Pittsburg (no h), Pittsburgh was primarily a steel manufacturing town. It was supplied coal from coal mines in the County of Washington, Pennsylvania to the south.
