RE Darkside Chronicles was a retelling of RE2 and RECV but adds a new story/chapter. It doesn't really have a game that comes after it. BUT, if you were to put in in chronological order, it'd be before RE4 I think.. (because of RECV and the ending of the new story/chapter makes it look like RE4 is next)

There coming out with Resident evil the dark chronicles which takes place in resident evil 2. And there is the first one resident evil umbrella chronicles. And my favorite, Resident Evil 4 for the Wii.There were rumors that there will be remaking Resident Evil 1 & 0 for wii but i don't know for sure. Indeed Resident Evil the Dark Chronicles are for the Wii. Also, Resident Evil 4. However, Capcom did make Resident Evil 0 for the Wii but it was only in Japan. This also applys to Resident Evil 1. Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil and Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero are going to be on the Wii. These are the Wii remakes of Resident Evil 1 and 0.

oh wow, that's a tough one, i love Leon and Claire's storyline and i love Jill and Chris's storyline, but, im an avid fan of Jill and Chris so of course, i'd pick Umbrella Chronicles, but honestly? they're both really good :)

the latest release is Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles which is only for the wii. A special edition of Resident Evil 5 will be released soon sometime in March. This will have 3 new stories; Chris&Jill in the mansion as seen in the flashback of resident evil 5 ; Jill&Josh this will be when you save Jill and she stays behind and escapes the island with josh; and the last chapter im not yet sure of. the special edition will come along with a code for NEW costumes for chris and sheva and some bonus characters for the new RESIDENT EVIL MERCENARIES REUNION

It's really a matter of personal opinion. Although RE 4 had the most innovation. It is my favorite by far. resident evil five is now the better game in resident evil 4 most of the parts were dark and depressing. resident evil 4 is the best game so far.
