You can, but competition for MIT is very intense, and the sooner you get your application package together, the better. If you look on the MIT website, it will tell you what the deadlines are for applying and when they need to receive your SAT scores. You can also contact their Admissions department and ask them about any procedures that you do not fully understand.
A 4.3+ GPA and a 1500+ SAT score. (That would be a 1500+ out of 1800, not out of 2400.)

getting into MIT is an extreamly hard process. you must be int he top 5% of your class, score a 35-36 on the act and subject tests. and then the sucsess rate is about 75%. my advice would be to make friends with some of the high ranking teachers and faculty

ofcourse...unbeaten for many decades...the epitome of an engineering...however...it is as difficult to get through...even with a perfect sat score... Answer It is without a doubt the best. You will here that CalTech is... but no, they don't have the best reputation in the USA like MIT does. MENS ET MANUS!!! =)
