Plasma TVs are better because they offer absolutely no lag time compared to LCDs and they have the highest black levels. Plasmas will use slightly more power, but overall better picture quality. LCD TVs are slightly more inexpensive, but comparing them side to side with a Plasma You will see the difference in quality.

LCD is better for hd viewing and the colours wil be more bright on lcd but plasma has got a glass screen and the colours are a little bit dimmer but the picture is great for standard viewing aswell as hd viewing , i have a lcd and for standard viewing the upsetted me but a hd plasma i have to say is better than a lcd in my opinion
