I have no idea what you are really talking about exactly, but I assume you are referring to using water to lubricate a glass tube before trying to push it through a rubber stopper with a hole in it. The water will help the glass slide through the small rubber opening, which can be sticky otherwise.

Dialysis Tubing is a type of semi or partially permeable membrane tubing made from regenerated cellulose or cellophane. It is used for diffusion, or more accurately osmosis. It allows the passage of small molecules but not larger ones. It is used in clinical circumstances to ensure a filtered flow of molecules, preventing the flow of larger solute molecules. Small molecules can be 'washed' out of a solution which is pumped through the tubing into a solvent, usually water, which surrounds it and in which they can be flushed away.
There is no way to push the replacement fuel line through the small hole in the gas tank. The fuel line must be trimmed at an angle, and a 12 to 14 inch piece of small gauge wire (26 gauge will do) will be inserted perpendicularly through the line about an inch below the top of the tubing. Insert enough of wire through the fuel line so the remaining wire can be bent and twisted above the top of the tubing. This will enable you to pull the wire, and the fuel line, up through the bottom, and out the top of the tank. Fish the wire through the small hole in the bottom of the fuel tank and out the top of the tank. Continue pulling the wire and the fuel line should follow (a small amount of grease applied to the tubing will aid in feeding it through the tank bottom) . Grasp the fuel line and continue pulling until there is a little slack at the carburetor end, but just enough tubing to fit over the fuel intake nipple on the side of the carburetor. Trim off excess tubing except for 2 inches above gas tank filler neck. Insert a small Phillips screwdriver (or some other tapered tool) into the end of the tubing and push it in about a half inch of so. This will stretch the fuel line tubing and make it easier to insert the fuel filter. A small bit of grease around the filter nipple will make it easier to fit it over the end of the tubing. Finally, pull about an inch or so of tubing at the carburetor side of the tank far added slack, and push the filter / tubing combo slide back inside the gas tank. Shake the tank around a bit so the filter will settle at the bottom of the tank. Reattach any removed parts back to the weedeater.

I have made a talk box before. What you need is some surgical tubing, a high current dual pole single throw switch, a small - high powered- speaker and a small sealable box to fit it in. If you want, there are plumbing fitings that you can buy from your local hardware store that will allow you to remove the tubing from the box. Then seal it all up. You can use silicone for that. run the surgical tubing from the box to the microphone that you are using. The sound will travel through the surgical tubing and into your mouth and then through the microphone.
