Only Hawaii and Alaska are part of the ring of fire which streches around the whole Pacific Ocean

The result is a line of volcanoes along the subduction boundary. Hawaii, which was mentioned as an answer, is not part of the Ring of Fire because its volcanoes were formed by a hot spot.

Part of the Ring of Fire is in North America. There are tectonic plates in Northern California and British Columbia.
