Well it depends. There is a 1970 penny that can either be worth 60 bucks or just 35 cents. just to the difference of the size of the seven in the date. Also if they have mistakes only then they would worth something. But besides that, a penny frankly is just worth a penny.
This coin is pretty much worthless UNLESS you have a doubled die. Get a magnifying glass and look at the date, if you see 1955 punched twice, then post again and i'll look it up for you. A doubled die is worth thousands in excellent condition.
The doubled die variety is worth $30-$50 in uncirculated condition. Any others are worth one cent.
