I would assume that the girl you are referring to told you that her parents do not want her to date you. Here I can see two possibilities. Either the girl herself does not want to date you and she uses her parents as an excuse or her parents met you and know about you negatively.
Either way it is not up to you to worry about her feelings. She might no be in a position to be independent of her parents or she might not want to hurt them by going against them. Either way, this is something only she can work out.
