No male lions in pride are related to the other lions.Once the domanate male gets old he would proberly be taken over by younger male lions
obviously, The lion is more harder than the tiger because the lion have more fighting experince than the tiger and the fact is the lion is always ready to fight against same sized animals (even though the oppenent is bigger) lion wont backward i am talking about Male lions but many of them thought tiger is more harder than lion.if you watch the Male African lion vs Bengal or Siberian tiger (every body knows the tigers are more weigh than the lion) even though the tiger is huge but the lion never back in a battle some times lions avoid fight against the tigers the reason is lions generally avoid the boxing fight. It just pin its oppenent and grounded it to the death .no matter wheather it is Bengal or Siberian tiger the lions have the capablity to do.the tigers can dominate only if it is very huge than the Male lions (over 50kg difference than the lions).you have to remember this The king is "Lion"because it already showed the courege and how to fight until the DEATH.That's why still LIONS are remains KING OF BEASTS"
Unlike lions, who live in family prides, tigers lead a solitary life. A female tiger will raise her young and hunt for herself and her cubs. A male tiger will roam over a large territory and mate when meeting a female in season. Afterwards moving on and taking no part in the raising of the offspring.
Well, I doubt that they fall in love. But their animal instincts can take over and sterile offspring can result. The Liger or the Tiglon. so the answer to your question is; Yes. A mating between a male lion and a female tiger (tigress) produces a liger and a mating between a male tiger and a female lion (lioness) produces a tiglon.
because if there is to many male lions then they will all have a fight over the females
Male lions have been know to fight each other over females, sometimes with extreme consequences, such as death. In addition, when an outsider male lion takes over a pride by running the original male off or killing him, the new male will sometimes kill the cubs of the original male. In larger prides, females have also been known to fight and injure a single invading male by ganging up on him.
Yes, they do. Ligers are crosses between male lions and female tigers. They don't exist in the wild however because lion and tiger habitats don't lap over. Basically they only exist in captivity.
Turn it over and have a look
Male lions are different from female because male ones are a lot larger and they have hair around the head but female lions don't. Female lions are also referred to as "lionesses". Also, female lions do most of the hunting in the pride. While the lionesses hunt, the male lions stay near and watch over the cubs. Male lions are also known for being the leaders of the pride. The leader is the one who challenges and fights other male lions from other prides. In a pride, there is a lot more females than males also.
Depends on the species of either animal. It's likely, in most cases, that the tiger would win over the bear.
The second largest cat, male lions average around 410 pounds. Some exceptional lions can weigh over 600 pounds.
I have read a lot of nonsense answers on this question. Lions and tigers are found in India, but they do not co-exist. There are approx 400+ Asiatic Lions to be found only in the Western stats of Gujarat in a particular national park called Gir. There are no tigers in this national park. The Bengal Tiger now numbers approx. 3000 in the 2018 census in over 50 natioanl parks across India, but no where do the two species co-exist. A fully grown male tiger can weigh up to a third more in weight than the equivalent lion.
