To legally purchase and own alcohol in the United States, 21 years old.

In most other countries, 18 years old.

The national law that regulates the "minimum purchase and public consumption" age for alcohol in the us is 21, but that law does not prohibit consumption under various conditions as provided for by state law.

It depends on your local and national laws, in particular with places that have a national age requirement to purchase and consume alcoholic drinks but certain areas are considered "dry".

The same age it would be for Canadian citizens. If you are in Canada you are subject to Canadian laws regardless of your citizenship. The drinking age is 19 in all provinces and territories except for the provinces of Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta, where it is 18.
