Any food can give you poisoning, it just needs to have some bacteria or be out of date. Mostly, when you leave food in an unfit place it will grow stale or mouldy and you will be poisoned when you consume it.
A little ginger ale may sometimes be good for an occasional upset stomach, but if you suspect food poisoning, you must contact your PCP or a clinic at once. Ginger ale is nice, but it has no effect whatever on the causes of food poisoning.

Food poisoning can affect different ways depending on the person. Most common food poisoning symptoms in both adults and children are been nausea, vomiting, having diarrhea, cramps and having a fever.
food poisoning is considered acute. because it is a short term effect. it only last a day or so. depending on how bad it is. you can be treated at ER if necessary etc. chronic is something that has a long term effect such as diabetes, liver dysfunction etc.
The shape of food poisoning? depends I suppose on what bacteria caused the food poisoning in the first place.
