It depends on who you are asking. To be a member of the AARP you must have reached the age of 50. Retirement age requirements are different as per plans/employers. Early retirement is usually 62, regular retirement 65.
You can join AARP at 50, but some stores say older tahn that to get discounts.

The age of a senior citizen is generally the same throughout the world. In Canada, a person is considered a senior citizen at the age of 60.

Males are considered senior citizens at the same age that females are considered senior citizens.
At the age of 62, one can retire with social security benefits within the US, and is considered to be the age of a senior citizen by many organizations. However, the federal government has determined one who is 65 years of age or older is senior citizen.Organizations such as AARP and most businesses consider age 55 as senior citizen and you would receive the standard senior discounts. So there are various opinions, but age 55 is about the youngest considered age.

I seriously doubt that any politician of ANY state, has the guts to attempt to pass a law which set a prescribed age at which one becomes a "senior." In California, at age 70 you are considered a senior regarding renewal of your drivers license, you are qualified for senior housing at age 55, for AARP at age 50 and you can get the senior discount at IHOP when you are 55!
Age
it matters the age of the senior if he/she is younger then 18 then its fine but any older then no
