What all can you do on a DSi with an SD card that you cant do without?

In my personal opinion, if you do not have an SD card, then you have lost practially a third of your DSi. The most important use for the DSi in my opinion is the extra space available with the SD card. For example, you can use it on data management if you have bought too many games and do not have enough room to download any more. With this, you can copy them onto the SD card, and then erase the one's on the DSi that you have copied. Now you have more room to use. It also functions with some games in storage as well. In Flipnote Studios, you do not have much room to work with on the actual DSi, but you do have the option of inserting an SD card, which allows you to save almost unlimited Flipnotes on your DSi.
Also, the SD card allow your DSi to become a REAL camera. By this I mean that you can save your pics on your SD card, and then print them off, as any photo printer will recognize them as real photos! Also for sound capabilities, you can remix your downloaded songs on the DSi if you have downloaded them onto the SD card. There are probably many other use for the SD card, but these are the ones that are the most useful, and most prominent.

The DSi can't execute code on the SD card, all it can do is store pictures on it, or play music. There's no way to play a homebrew game off the SD card, the DSi simply wasn't made with the means to do so.
