The p1000-1 Rockford fosgate punch amp
go with the alpine 12 inch type r's. they are one of the best subs out there. im running two of them right now and i love them.
Three bills
yes
l5's are louder, alpine type r's are clearer. It all depends on what you want..... Loud, or clear.
Personally, I have had both subs in pairs with sealed boxes. At first I thought the kickers were amazing but then i bought the type e's with the alpine mrp-m500. For the price the type e's are way more worth and and sound better with multiple music types.
At least 1000
Perfect as long as your running them at 2 ohms to get the full 1000 watts RMS output from the amp as each sub is rated at 500 w rms. I have the same amp with 2 10" alpine type r subs. Model SWR-1023d, 2010 model and they bump hard as hell!
i have a pair of mtx 12 inch jackhammers. there decent but im thinkin about tradin them for some alpine type r. they hit 400 rms and 800 peak. there also single voice coils and 4 ohm. like i said there just OK. not by any means great or anything
Alpine offered up until last year the PDX-1000 wich is a 1000 Watts RMS amplifier designed with the type X subwoofer series in mind. Now the best match would be the PDX-M12. Set the amplifier gain carefully as this amplifier is a bit strong for this subwoofer.
Type R 12 or 15 by Alpine. Check them out on YouTube.
Two 10" subs are sufficient for an average suv sound system depending on the driver.
