the inhibitor relay is between the a/c relay and the cornering relay
In front of the battery(in relay box). It's the one that says Inhibitor.
Yes, there is a fuse in the fuse box, but it goes to the transmission inhibitor switch which provides ground to the inhibitor relay through the theft warning relay(if equipped). There is also a fusible link which provides power to the ignition switch. If the dash indicator lights come on then the link is probably alright. So, you could have a blown fuse, a faulty transmission inhibitor switch, a faulty theft warning relay, a bad inhibitor relay, or a bad starter motor.
start inhibitor relay located next to battery in fuse/relay compartment
It is in the engine bay on the passenger side in front of the battery under a plastic cover. If your cover is missing the sticker, the inhibitor relay is the white one in here or the front left one.
To the best of my knowledge the inhibit clutch interlock relay will not allow the car to be started while the automatic transmission is in gear. (ie-must be in neutral or park) On manual cars there is a lockout relay which either operated the inhibitor relay or functions by itself. This is a general answer, perhaps someone has a more Nissan specific.
right front fender well close to power steering resorvoir.
the inhibitor switch only allows the car to be started in Neutral or Park. No other positions.
An inhibitor switch basically tells your vehicle whether its in motion or in park. It can tell the car to park or to go into first gear etc.
I figured it out myself...it was the inhibitor relay got wet.
A fuel pump relay switch can cause your car to stall after starting. A malfunctioning fuel pump relay switch can cause your car to not start at all.
the horn does not have a relay on your car, does have a fuse inside the car, d.s dash
