My 98 did this and it was a clogged fuel injector. Someone else: my 99 V70 used to stall when I was stopping. Not all the times, but sometimes. Back gate does not lock/unlock from the remote (I have to use the key); lights for the plates do not light up. Intermittent faults shown on the display - they come and go.
