H1N1 (Swine Flu) was initially a disease of only swine (pigs), discovered in the 1930's. This influenza virus mutated into a new form in 2009, called A-H1N1/09, that caused a pandemic. It has been commonly called swine flu, too. The animal the H1N1 influenza virus has been named for is the hog (pig, swine). For more information see the related questions below.
The original swine flu that only pigs initially got was called influenza A virus subtype H1N1. The original name of the type of swine flu that caused the 2009 pandemic was different depending on which country was using the name. The CDC originally called it Novel H1N1 Swine Flu and then the name became H1N1/09. See the related question below for many of the names it has been called world wide.

Swine Flu
No you cant get it from avian flu directly, because swine flu is literally pig flu, so it originated from pigs, or so the name says. Same thing for avian flu, its, bird flu. S.o no, but you can get swine flu from birds, because flus can be carried from organisms to organisms. So, cutting it short, you can't get it from avian flu, but you can get it from a bird that has swine flu. A bit tedious but that's my answer.
