Antifreeze that is aluminum compatible.
Any antifreeze that will not hurt aluminum.
You probably used the wrong type of antifreeze. You should use the type for aluminum heads.
Most anti freezes are aluminum compatible just read the jug if it says it won't hurt aluminum it should be OK.
Jaguar REQUIRES an "Aluminum Safe formulation", and my local Jag mechanic recommends a chemical/pressure flush every 2 years. Any high quality, name brand that is marked as "Safe for aluminum" is sufficient. A chemical reaction can occur inside the coolant system with low quality antifreeze/coolant which can cause corrosion and pitting of aluminum components. The "purple" antifreeze is aluminum safe and non-toxic to prevent injury to you family pets should a leak develope.
Yes, aluminum is a good thermal and electrical conductor.
No. Aluminum is a very good conductor of heat.
Most all cars of that year and later use the orange extended life coolant . it is used for the newer aluminum block engines and is good for 50000 miles
No.
Yes, being a metal, aluminum is a good thermal conductor.
Any good grade of antifreeze mixed 50/50 with water
some shops have equipment that passes used antifreeze through a filtration process, adds an additives package, and generates recycled antifreeze that meets virgin specifications. Recycled is just as good, or if you like new only that's fine too.
