All mammals have a long and complex lineage. The first mammals branched off from reptiles about 200 or more million years ago. Apes evolved from an ancient group of possum-like tree mammals millions of years ago. These mammals diversified 65 million years ago after the death of the dinosaurs, branching off into all the different mammals of today. One group of mammals took to the trees, developing long tails, opposed thumbs and flat faces, eventually becoming apes.
Well, they evolved from a guy named Kenyapithecus, who was the common ancestor of chimpanzees and humans. He was a quite primitive, unspecialized ape. The chimpanzee is about as advanced from him as a human is. He lived about 15,000,000 years ago in East Africa. Ardapithecus, our direct ancestor, is his descendant. Australopithecus came from Ardapithecus; you can see possibly how in the fine film "2001: A Space Odyssey."
they did not evolve at all evolveing was NOT how we where made evolution is the dumbest thery God made man perfict and perfictly man sinned and thats why there is sickness and why there is hurt in the world Jesus Loves you he died for you and he came back to life no sacrafice was grater thats why we will not go to hell repent as much as you have to
Extant non-human apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor.
According to the theory of evolution and all evidence gathered through fossil records and other remains, yes.
Many people believe against it, but I think that yes, humans came from apes, probably chimpanzees or bonobos.
the chimpanzee genes bear a 98% similarity to human genes
None
Well people say that humans evolve from monkeys but life on Earth has evolved through billions of years through small microorganism's. Also humans didn't evolve from apes, we evolved from a common ancestor but we just evolved in a different way to apes due to environment e.g. food, predators etc
The goldfish did not evolve naturally and in nature. Goldfish did however evolve with the assistance of man who selectively bred and developed them to have the different colours and shapes they now have.
The best supported theory, ie the one with the most evidence, is that humans and apes both evolved from a common ancestor.
No! It has been a theory but they did not. Although I am a Christian.
Hominoids evolved in Asia and Africa.
If we're evolving and evolved from monkeys or apes then why is there still monkeys and apes. We did not evolve from apes or monkeys. We branched off a common line. Humans did not evolve from apes. Humans and apes had a common ancestor . Apes evolved in one direction and we evolved in another. We probably looked a lot alike at first.
Cats did not evolve from sabertoothed tigers. Rather, sabertoothed cats evolved from other cats. Modern apes evolved from miocene apes, which were somewhat similar. Miocene apes evolved from some lemur-like primate, or perhaps something like a lorise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loris

man evolved from apes
Man did not originate from apes per se, rather we share a common ancestor with them. This is a common misconception about evolution. Humans evolved to fit their environment, apes evolved to fit theirs.
darwin This was in his work 'The Descent of Man.'
Yes, humans are classified as animals and have evolved from earlier primate ancestors over millions of years through the process of evolution. The theory of evolution explains how all species, including humans, have descended from common ancestors through natural selection and adaptation to their environments.
An 'ape' is any member of the Hominoidea superfamily, which includes lesser apes like the gibbon, and the greater apes, such as chimps, gorillas and humans. This kind of relation shows that all of these share a single common ancestor. This ancestor is what we evolved from.
evolution - apes continued to evolve as well. We came from all mamals, reptiles etc... each species continued to evolve into its own lines. All dogs came from the selective breeding from wolves, and wolves continue to exist.
All the evidence indicates modern man evolved from earlier apes.
If you believe Darwin's theory you evolved from one but it's just a theory and subject to opinion
Humans evolved from apes. So Apes came first.
