there are much more than three constellations, but the ones seen in the northern hemisphere are : orion(winter only) pegasus(fall/autmn only) leo the lion(spring only) cygnus the swan, aka the northern cross(summer) scorpio(summer) ursa major/great bear(year round) ursa minor/little bear/little dipper(year round) draco the dragon(year round) queen cassiopeia(year round) king cepheus(year round) of course there are more than that, like gemini, and the dogs, and andromeda, and hercules, but those are the most common!
