There are 3 main types of muscle. 1. skeletal muscle - this is what everyone think of when we think of muscles, it is what makes us move our joints by flexing and relaxing pairs of muscles. 2. smooth muscle - this is the muscle in side the arterial walls, they can constrict to stop of decrease blood flow to a certain area of the body. Smooth muscle is also used in other places like glands and ducts. 3. cardiac muscle - this muscle is only found in the heart its special because it never gets tired (does not produce CO2 or lactic acid) because electrical currents can travel through it. whch means it can beat millions of times in your life time without needing a rest
There are a few types of muscles. The most "important" (term used very loosely here) are the smooth muscles, they control all bodily functions that are automatic (heartbeat, digestion, ext.) if you were missing any smooth muscle, you could not survive longer than 3 weeks (for digestion) 3 minutes (heartbeat). The second type, which I am guessing you mean in the question, is skeletal muscles. If you did not have those muscles, life would be possible, but you would be like a sea sponge, food HAS to come to you, reproduction would not be possible in the manner that we are used to (it would need to be either asexual, or like plants).
bacteria are found everywhere in air, land, water, oil deposits, man, animals, plants, decaying organic matter & food
It is a cell organelle.. there is a rough and a smooth E.R.
Active Exhalation a.k.a. Forced Expiration - Accessory muscles are used to assist passive forces Accessory muscles used: INTERNAL RIB CAGE MUSCLES- 1. Internal Intercostals 2. Transversus Thoracis 3. Subcostals EXTERNAL RIB CAGE MUSCLES- 1.Serratus Posterior Inferior 2.Quadratus Lomborum ABDOMINAL MUSCLES- 1. Rectus Abdominis 2. External Oblique 3. Internal Oblique 4. Transversus Abdominis Hope this helps :D
Smooth, Cardiac, Skeletal
Cardiac muscle- found in the heart Smooth muscle-compose hollow internal structures, such as blood vessels and organs, such as the stomach Skeletal muscles-These are the muscles attached to the bones,
Esophogus/ Stomach/ and BladderAny hollow organs except the heart
The skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscles
Smooth, Cardiac, and Skeletal muscles
within the skeleton
Smooth muscles are usually found (1. in the walls of blood vessels; (2. around hollow organs such as the urinary bladder; (3. and in layers around the respiratory, Circulatory, Digestive, and Reproductive tracts.
Cardiac, smooth and skeletal.
Cardiac, smooth and skeletal.
Skeletal, smooth, cardiac
The three kinds of muscles are the smooth, cardiac and the skeletal. The smooth muscles are controlled by the autonomic nervous system. The cardiac muscles are in the heart and the skeletal help move our bodies.
There are three types of muscles:Skeletal muscle- Muscle of exterior (ex. triceps, biceps)Smooth muscle- Muscle of interior organs (ex. lungs, stomach)Cardiac muscle- Muscle of heart (ex. heart)
