The generally accepted parts are: 1 The Torah or Pentateuch: * Genesis * Exodus * Leviticus * Numbers * Deuteronomy 2. The History Books (Joshua to Esther) 3. The Writings (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon) 4. The Major Prophets (Isaiah to Ezekiel - so called because of the lengths of their books and not through any merit) 5. The Minor Prophets (Daniel to Malachi) so called because of their shorter books

WE can divide The Bible into the five parts, the 5 books of Moses, then the Jews in power David Solomon and the other kings,, The Jews are taken captive to Babylon and then then the return of the Jews,The prophet years from Samuel Isaiah , Jeremiah, Ezra and the other prophets and their prophecey of Jesus coming.
