1) God gave us The Bible so that we could know Him. 2) So that we can know His Son, Jesus Christ. 3) So that we can know the way to God through Jesus Christ in salvation. 4) So that after salvation we can know how to conduct our lives. 5) So that we can read the Old Testament to see the examples that He has put in there for our benefit. 6) So that we can read of the history that God has put down for Israel. 7) So we can read about the history of the New Testament and the start of the New Covenant. 8) So we can read the prophecy's and know what is in our future as well as see the prophecy's that have already been fulfilled and praise God that His Word is true and can be trusted.
The Bible has two authors: God and humans.
To know who He is, To know that He is the one and only true God, To know how to live, To know that His words are always true, To know about people of the past, To Know that he loves us, To know that Jesus is God and Jesus is the son of God, To know that we are sinners and need a savior,
GOD gave us ten laws to live by called the ten commandments.
The Bible is the only book where God is speaking to us. The Bible is God telling us what we need to do with our lives. The Bible tells us that God is everything. He is omnipresent (everywhere), merciful, everlasting, caring, loving, all powerful, unchangeable, He is everything! It tells us that God came down in human form, lived in human life, and then died in pain for us. When Jesus came back to real life after 3 days, that meant that we could now speak to God on our own. Whatever questions you have about God, you can find the answer in the Bible. When you read the Bible, you're reading the word of God.
The Bible does not say this. God is never done with us. The Bible says you are saved when you confess with mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I do not know, but the greatest offering God gave to us was his son Jesus Christ. (John 3.16)

The Bible is God
The Bible states several times that all Scripture is given by God's inspiration for the benefit of all mankind. It is recorded by various men who were inspired by God. The very first chapter of the Bible - Genesis 1 tells us God made all life - man on the 6th day and then He gave us the Sabbath rest.
1. God gave us free will 2. God gave us a soul 3. God have us the knowledge to know him
The Bible is an ancient record of the dealings of God with people of Israel. It can teach us what it is God expects of us. It can teach us that God loves us. it can teach us God's plan for our happiness.
No we were closer to god when it all started in the Bible but we are always with god.
