no idea what "wod " is or "confriting", but like everything else, houses in England vary drastically in style from modern brick things to 400 year old (or older) brick or stone houses. many are Victorian in style as there was huge demand uring the Victorian age. these houses are small row houses with tiny gardens, usually referred to as two up two down, meaning the rooms on each floor. most did not have modern Plumbing fitted until the 1950's. people had to rely on outhouses. personally, i think most English houses are ugly squat and squalid buildings. there are some stunning houses, but they are few and far between.
