The advantages of tehri dam is to provide electricity & hydel energy [generating electricity when water falls from a height].
The disadvantages are visible that lakhs of people houses were submerged in the making of dams there lands all the things .,the property submerged in the water. They are roaming here & there the government only decide to give money but never do this. you asked a question but now i am asking all the Indians , government ,this question are all the people are happy as they were in there old lands..................................................................
