jupiter and earth are both planets and go around the sun. that is the only thing alike.
Edit : There's a bit more than that. One thing is that they both have significant magnetic fields.
Also they both have important internal heat sources and they have atmospheres with storm systems, etc.
There's probably more, but I agree they are very different planets.
They both have storms such as ( lightning and swirling clods)
EARTH AND JUPITER ARE AWESOME! but i live on earth making it awesomer! BD
Similarities: Planets, natural satellites Differences:Jupiter is a gas giant, earth is not.
Planet Mars is located between Earth and Jupiter. Sorry, only one, not two . . .
jupiter has a larger mass than earth.
The angle between the line from Earth to Jupiter and the line from Earth to the Sun when Jupiter is at opposition is 180 degrees. This is because Jupiter, Earth, and the Sun are aligned in a straight line during opposition, with Earth in the middle.
you cant live on Jupiter
Not really, Jupiter is a large gas planet with an opaque atmosphere (you can't see through its clouds). Some think that Jupiter is a star that never formed. The atmosphere is amonia (obviously you could not live in such an environment). Some "similarities" would be that Jupiter has storms somewhat like earth (lightning and swirling clouds).
Jupiter is bigger so it has a bigger gravitational force, Jupiter is away from the sun more, it is a gas giant. most asteroids hit Jupiter saving our planet, and Jupiter doesn't have a atmosphere like we do.
Jupiter.
The two planets that lie between Venus and Jupiter are Earth and Mars.
The distance between Earth and Jupiter ranges between 893 million and 964 million kilometers apart.
