All Xbox 360 can run Kinect
The Kinect is a add-on for the Xbox 360. There is no Kinect Xbox 360. There was the released of the Xbox 360 S, this Xbox 360 is basically a new design. The console is also more powerful in a way that it can power the Kinect only through a USB port, the older Xbox 360's does not and will need a power supply to help it.
Kinect is just an add on. You will be able to play all of your 360 games plus the ones made for just Kinect. Though the Kinect sucks in my opinion. You could buy a 360 + a Wii cheaper than you could a 360 and kinect bundle. Food for thought friend.
yes i have the kinect ready xbox (4gb) i can play all games the only reason it is named different is because the kinect ready xbox can play kinect games because it has the software in. you cannot play kinect games on any other xbox apart from the 2 new kinect ready xbox
Some games will have kinect compatibility which means you CAN use the kinect but its not needed.
Not all Xbox 360 consoles are Kinect ready. To use the Kinect sensor, you need an Xbox 360 console with a dedicated Kinect port, which is available on models like the Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E. Older models, such as the original Xbox 360, can be made Kinect compatible by using an additional power adapter. Additionally, the Kinect sensor requires specific software updates to function properly with the console.
Yes, all the Xbox 360 consoles can use Kinect.
Firstly, the kinect will work on all versions of the Xbox 360, they color does not mean anything. With the Xbox 360 white version, you need to plug the kinect into a power supply, this is because that version of the xbox wont power the kinect.
Yes. All Xbox 360s past and present support Kinect.
No it doesn't. You have to buy special kinect games to use the kinect.
Yes, it is just that the new xbox 360 slim has a dedicated kinect port on the back of the xbox just above the Ethernet port. The old xbox requires an A/C adapter that came with the kinect so you can plug it into the xbox in the back or the front USB ports.
