Most major cities will have their various scenes. A lot of US Doom Metal bands hail from Maryland and Northern Virginia. Tampa was the epicenter of the US Death Metal scene, although the more famous US Death Metal bands also formed in New York and California. New Orleans is noted for the Sludgecore scene.

It's been used a number of times by several bands (both true Metal bands, false "metal" bands, and non-Metal bands). One I can think of offhand is a Finnish band called Wounds, on their Chaos Theory album. Can't remember the exact song offhand.

You need metal bands because you have an overbite. The metal bands have hooks on them. You put rubber bands on each of the hooks (they are on the top and the bottom) and then it pulls your teeth into the right shape. Btw don't worry it does't hurt when they put the metal bands on. Not everyone needs them because not everyone has an overbite.
