As exempt employees of the company, paid vacation would normally be part of their compensation; however if they were working in the position as independent contractors, no paid vacation is not available to them.
Yes, he could do that.
A sales position could prove to be lucrative due to commission that employees are paid, but the managerial positions are the highest paying salaried jobs available through the company.
As far as I know, when you are on disability your are to return to your employer with either the same or similar position. They can give away your position, but you are allowed back onto the job with a similar or same position. For example, you stock shelves in a store in Dept A. making $$ an hour. You go on disability and they put another person in your spot. When you return to work after being on disability your employer is obligated to have you stock shelves as before at $$ per hour, but it may be in a Dept B. I hope that makes sense. I would fill out the FMLA form because that protects you.
Well, that's not usually the termonology used, but employees can be promoted, and they can be demoted. It's not uncommon if an employee is not working out in the new position, for him or her to be demoted back to the previous position. As long as this is done because of the employee's performance, and not due to their race, color, religion, sex, national ancestry, pregnancy, disability status or age (over 40), it's probably legal.
they dont :/
It depends on you position in the company.
