If you are looking for a metal tin with high sides, it is a roasting pan. (An oven-tray is the equivalent with low sides). A baking dish is a ceramic dish, which usually has reasonably high sides (typically 5cm/2 1/4 inches). If you are looking for a "baking dish but with really high sides", try a casserole pan.

Can ghee be used in baking?

Can ghee be used in baking? It is a popular query for many. Ghee can be used as a substitute for butter in baking recipes. It has a high smoke point, which makes it suitable for high-heat cooking methods such as baking. To use ghee in baking, simply replace the butter called for in the recipe with an equal amount of ghee. Ghee has a distinct nutty flavor so that it may affect the taste of your baked goods. It's best to use ghee in recipes that complement its flavors, such as in savory pastries or crunchy cookies. Remember that ghee is high in calories and saturated fats, so portion control is necessary. Here is more info: milkio.co.nz/faqs/can-ghee-be-used-in-baking/

Does baking change the pH value of baking soda?

If you bake baking soda at extremely high temperatures, you'll drive off the carbon dioxide, leaving NaOH, which is in fact more basic than baking soda itself is.

What would happen if a flame went near a mixture of baking soda?

Baking soda is a chemical called sodium bicarbonate. Baking soda is NOT flammable, so it would not catch on fire if heated by a flame. It is quite likely that little bits of the baking soda would go into the flame and cause flashes of bright yellow-orange light. At high temperatures, baking soda will breakdown into sodium carbonate, water and carbon dioxide: 2NaHCO3 -> Na2CO3 + H2O + CO2
