I think it is a matter of opinion & budget. I spent alot of money to put very good shocks on my Wrangler but the trae off was better handling. Stock shocks might run $25 each on sale up to $70-80 each for top of the line. Personally I would opt for better shocks & also use the poly bushings cause they also give a better ride & handling.
Not necessarily. From what i understand, though, if you decide not to get shocks to accompany the longer springs, your ride quality will be a sloppy mess. If you have the extra cash, it would be best to get shocks that have more travel.
