They have hot summers and cold winters or at least that's what I think. ~
For precipitation the biome gets 15-40 inches of rain, and for the climate, I can't really find the specific temperatures but I can say that the weather is that it can get cold during the winter but it gets at a moderate temperature for the summer so that the plant life in the biome can survive and the cycle can continue.
== == They are in the western coast of North and South America and in areas around the Mediterranean Sea.
Temperate woodlands and shrublands contain many wild flowers which lie between oak and large trees. Areas that are dominated by shrubs are called chaparrel.
its an awesome place to visit with people who are shorter than average
Temperate Woodlands experience hot, dry summers, and cold, moist winters.
abiotic factors are short hot summers.....averege rainfall-38-100! (: temperatuers are 10 degress too 40....(:
Temperate rainforests are some of the more rare ecosystems. Their creatures include a variety of slugs, insects, birds, and more. They are lush and have fairly moderate temperatures.
Temperate Woodlands and shrublands are found commonly on the western coast of North/South America, some areas near the Mediterranean Sea, South Africa, and Australia.

A temperate woodland and shrubland biome is called a chaparral. Evergreen trees, shrubs aromatic herbs, oregano, thyme, grasses, sage, and cork oak are some of the plants in the biome.

The best biome to view the changing of the seasons would be the temperate forest biome. In a temperate forest biome they have tall trees and moderate rainfall.

Rome (according to the Prentice-Hall & Holt Science textbooks), is a "Temperate Woodland and Shrubland" biome; which has a similar climate, wildlife, and vegetation to what you would experience if you lived in Southern California.

Any plant is a potential producer in any biome.
a temperate biome is a forest
the biome that has a temperate climate is the forest (topical rainforest)etc. thanks alot!!!
According to Life on earth:on the land by the Diagram Group, Germany is in the temperate woodland biome.
