Four forms of energy related to change in matter are thermal (heat) energy, chemical energy, nuclear energy, and electrical energy. These forms of energy can cause physical or chemical changes in matter by providing the necessary energy for these changes to occur.

The physical and chemical changes that occur in a system are alike because they change the state of the reactants. They are different because a chemical change produces a new substance while a physical change does not produce any new substance.Differ in physical:1. A difference in the appearance, smell, or simple display of a sample of matter without a change in composition.2. Be observed without changing the identity of the substance3. Can be seen or measured without changing a material.Differ in Chemical:1. There is a change of the substances in question2. determines how a substance changes into a completely different substance.3. Tells how the substance forms new substances when it mixes with something else.
There are four different types of organization changes. The changes are: strategic, structural, process- oriented and people- centered.
Four types of weathering that can occur without water include mechanical weathering caused by temperature changes, chemical weathering due to oxygen in the air, biological weathering from plant roots and burrowing animals, and physical weathering caused by wind abrasion.
The four types of chemical equations are synthesis (combination), decomposition, single displacement, and double displacement. Each type describes different ways in which chemical reactions can occur and can be represented using symbols and formulas.

There are 94 naturally occurring chemical elements in the universe. These elements range from hydrogen, the most abundant, to uranium, the heaviest naturally occurring element.
The "four sides of the fire quadrangle" refer to the four components necessary for a fire to occur: fuel, oxygen, heat, and a chemical chain reaction. Without any one of these elements, a fire cannot be sustained.
