A used 4x4 was someone else's head ach!! I started off with a used 86 full sized bronco. Put more money into repairs than I did gas.
The subru outbacks I have not heard many complaints from owners, I would stay away from any crossover American made.. If you are looking for full sized I would look for Dodge. I don't see many in junk yards.
