If you do an online search for modeling photographers in Europe you will get a list of websites of photographers. Be sure to check out their websites and portfolios to see if you like their style of work. To narrow down your choices you should do an online search for modeling photographers based on the city you live in. Working with local photographers is convenient and usually more affordable than working with a photographer that is located far away from you.
There are a number of websites that offer modeling portfolios, too many to name specific ones that are better or the best. Simply looking this up in any search engine will get you results to compare prices. However, it should be noted that modeling portfolios don't technically have to cost you money. Instead, you should opt for doing test shoots with legit photographers in your area. Networking with professional photographers via online modeling communities (Model Mayhem is a popular site for this) allows you to arrange free photoshoots with photographers, who will gladly help you build your portfolio. Request a TFCD or TFP, which stands for "time for CD of images" or "time for prints." You exchange your time as a model with the photographer, who will provide you with prints or digital copies of your images from the shoot. It is often easier and more cost-effective to do test shoots first to build a portfolio instead of spending a lot of money to "buy" a portfolio.
There are no modeling agencies in Fresno so if you hope to be an agency represented model you will have to go further south to the Los Angeles area, although there is one modeling agency in Bakersfield, which is a reasonable distance from Fresno (Extraordinaire Models & Talent). Other than that you will have to go into freelance modeling. You will have to network with professional photographers in your area to build your modeling portfolio. There are online modeling communities that are good for networking and finding local gigs such as Model Mayhem and One Model Place.
Modeling agency websites often provide information about the industry as well as links to related resources. Blogs run by models, photographers and others currently working in the industry are also great sources to utilize.
It depends on how you go about putting it together. You can get a portfolio in one of two ways: 1) Do test shoots with various photographers. Test shoots don't involve any money and deal with you shooting with a photographer and in return they will provide you with a copy of your images. After doing a few test shoots with a few different photographers, you can choose which images you want to go in your portfolio. There are online portfolios as well as hard copy portfolios, which require printing out your pictures and placing them in a simple, black portfolio case. You can ask the photographers to retouch the pictures you want to go in your portfolio. This alternative is much more cost effective if you don't have a lot of money to spend. 2) The second option is the same as the first except that you find photographers and pay for their services. Photographers often make paid work a priority and may offer you more in return, such as a CD of images all retouched or may even print out your favorites from the shoot. The basic costs of a portfolio include: 1) Photographer (optional...free if you do test shoots) 2) Portfolio case (for hard copy portfolios)...you can find such cases in any office supply store. Don't spend a fortune on one...you can buy a simple one for between $15-30. 3) Printing costs (if you choose to have a hard copy portfolio)...you can either print your pictures from home if you have a good photo printer, or you can take your images to places like Kinkos and have them print them for you. Your images for a hard copy portfolio should be at least 8"x10"
There are many photographers who will do weddings. Check with friends for good references.
It can be very profitable for some photographers and also photographers that are good to run a business. Top Fashion and portrait photographers can demand large sums of money per shoot. www.goldprints.com
Good photos.

The professional photographers at WalMart in Spruce Pine, North Carolina are good for what you pay for. Their experience is limited and the quality is generic.
The best way to find good, legit, and well paying modeling jobs is by being signed to a modeling agency, which allows them to find the work for you. However, many other models use the Internet to find modeling jobs on sites such as Craigslist, Model Mayhem, and One Model Place. The latter two are online modeling communities, which allow models to network with photographers, stylists, makeup artists, etc. and also have casting links that list the latest projects in need of models. Networking with others in the industry and passing out business card or comp cards to photographers you test shoot with may also lead to modeling opportunities. Additionally, you can look up casting agencies in your area--if there are any--and register with them (it's usually free to set up an online profile but you may need to pay extra to certain features). Casting agencies are not the same as modeling agencies because they do not work with contracts or establish an agency/model relationship. Being on a casting website basically puts your image and information out there and you will be notified of upcoming modeling jobs and/or you can search using their database and submit yourself. There are a handful of ways to find modeling jobs. You just have to know where to look, know the right people, and be diligent.
