In the wild guppies eat: shrubs, algae and small insects and shrimp like creatures.
In an aquarium guppies eat: dry fish food flakes, living aquarium plants, algae, egg yolk, dried shrimps and in some cases a sick or ill fish and maybe even their own babies

Do you mean What they eat? Do you mean how often they eat? I'll try to answer your question the best i can. They eat brine shrimp, microworms, infusoria and mosquito larvae vinegar eels. But they also eat fish flakes. They can't eat pellets because their mouths are too small. Although after about 2 months they will eat whenever you feed them, anywhere from once every few days to two to three times a day will work fine for them.

Fun Fightn' Fact: You don't have to buy fish food specifically for baby fish. Just crunch regular fish food flakes in your hand as small as small as you can. It does the same good, if not better. ;)
