Well, it depends......do you have any experience? if not, this is what your hamster HAS to have.....
* food- i prefer Kaytee or Fiesta brand
* bedding- Carefresh ultra is the best in my opinion
* water/water bottle
* cage- i prefer wire cages, don't make it too big, they like snug areas
* a place to sleep- if you don't have enough money to get them a sleeping place like something you can get at a store, make sure you put in a lot of bedding, approx. 2 inches everywhere
* wheel- they NEED to get exercise- not just when you take them out

Well normal syrian hamsters don't normally have any speacial needs unless they have an illness. They just need to be cleaned one a week and like to be handled and fresh food and water daily, and toys to play and chew on and a house for it too sleep in.

First of all, Hamsters like to run on wheels during the night or day. but you also have to re-fill your hamsters food bowl everyday. Also every one or two days make sure to change or re-fill your hamsters water. And of course clean out your hamster cage at least once a week.

Yes. Female hamsters, or girl hamsters, will also fight. They aren't any better with the fighting thing. Syrian hamsters of any gender will eat each other if put in one cage. Dwarf hamsters, on the other hand, can live with each other with a daily mini-quarrel.
